2. Collection of general information on visit

When you visit this website, technically necessary data is recorded in so-called server log files by my hosting provider (see section 3): IP address, date and time of the request, the page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system. Processing serves to ensure trouble-free operation and to defend against attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after no later than 30 days. The data is not combined with other data sources.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA). A data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Hosting may involve transferring personal data to the USA. Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF); additionally, the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR apply. 4. Contact form

When you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email, company, phone, requested service, message) is processed via Netlify Forms and forwarded to my email address. Since Netlify, Inc. is based in the USA, this may also involve a data transfer to the USA; the safeguards mentioned in section 3 (DPF, SCC) apply accordingly. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for other inquiries (legitimate interest in efficient communication). Providing the data is voluntary; however, without it I cannot respond to your inquiry. The data is stored until your inquiry has been finally processed and then deleted after no later than 12 months, unless legal retention obligations apply.

5. Other contact channels (email, phone, WhatsApp)

You can also reach me directly by email, phone, or WhatsApp. For email and phone, the transmitted data (e.g. sender address, content, phone number, name) is processed solely to respond to your inquiry. WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland); the parent company is Meta Platforms, Inc., based in the USA. When you use WhatsApp, data (incl. phone number, profile name, message content, device and connection information) is also transferred to servers in the USA; Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for other inquiries. If you do not wish to have data transferred to WhatsApp/Meta, please use a different contact channel. The data is deleted once your inquiry has been finally processed, unless legal retention obligations apply.

6. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies or localStorage entries (e.g. to store your language preference). Legal basis: § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary for the explicitly requested telemedia service) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No tracking cookies or third-party cookies (analytics, advertising, social media) are used. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons when transmitting confidential content (e.g. inquiries via the contact form). You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock icon and the „https://“ prefix in the address bar.
